Zivka Gorgievski Obituary

Zivka Gorgievska, 90, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2020. She was born in Grncari, Republic of Macedonia on April 21, 1930, to the late Riste and Dinka Grozdanovski.

Zivka married Tode Gorgievski in Dolna Bela Crkva, Republic of Macedonia, in May 1950 and had three children. They immigrated to the United States in 1969, where Zivka worked at Ansell Perry for 20 years before retiring. She was a long time member of St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church, enjoyed gardening and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Tode; sisters (Kifca and Trajanka); brother (Kire); and son-in-law, Naume.

Zivka will be lovingly remembered by her children; Violet Mitev, Pece (Novica) Gorgievski, and Lupcho (Keti) Gorgievski. Baba will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Michael (Snezana) Mitev, Diana (Mende) Tanaskoski, Alex (Viktorija) Gorgievski, Patric Gorgievski, Angie and Phillip Gorgievski, her great-grandchildren: Magdalena Tanaskoska, Ana and Mia Mitev, and numerous other family members and friends.

For immediate family, funeral services will be held Monday, January. 4, 2021 at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church, with The Very Reverend Zoran Zdravev officiating.
