William Syslo Obituary
William E. Syslo, 63, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Western Reserve Hospital.
Billy was a member of the Sheet Metal Worker Local 33. He had worked in the HVAC industry and worked for many years for Safeco. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Always one to lend a helping hand when needed and maybe offer a few jokes along the way.
Billy is survived by his life partner Tammi Sechrist; his daughter Jill Syslo along with Step-Children Traci and Danny Sechrist and Shelby and Monica Andress; Step-grandchildren Aubrey, Logan, Charlie, Kaden, Oliver, and Sean Martin, ; siblings Betty Syslo, Laura (Douglas) Kasburg, and Sherry Bricker; nieces and nephews Jay Syslo, Leanne Kasburg, Garland, Rachel and Garrison Bricker and Jayse Johnson and his work family at Safeco.
The family will receive friends for calling hours on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. Akron and will be followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm. Cremation will follow with private interment at Restland Cemetery. There will also be a Celebration of Life gathering hosted by his friends at Sunny Hill Golf Course at 3734 Sunnybrook Rd. in Kent on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 6pm.
