Thomas C. Bokoski, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born in Akron and was a proud truck driver in the trucking industry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Thomas was an avid fisherman and liked bowling and family trips.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Bokoski; mother, Theda Young; brother, David Bokoski; grandson, Richard Holcomb; and brother-in-law, Chuck Clinebell. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marge Bokoski; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Terry Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Sue Bokoski; half-sister, Kathy and her husband Leonard Gomboski; half-brother, Allen Aller; sisters-in-law, Linda Clinebell and Virginia Bokoski; granddaughter, Jessica Evans; and great-grandsons, Charles Evans and his fiancée Melissa and Richard Evans and his girlfriend Daisy.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Masks and Social Distancing Required. Pastor Terry Baker officiating. Private entombment at Hillside Memorial Park.
