Suzanne M. Danco

Suzanne M. Danco (Erslan), passed away November 10, 2022, 3 months shy of her 100th birthday.
Born February 19, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to Stephan and Grace Erslan; She was a 1940 Graduate of Central High School and Hammel Business College. She was employed at the Akron Chamber of Commerce, American Hard Rubber Company and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company in 1990.
Preceded in death by the father of her children, Sam Danco; parents, Stephan and Grace Erslan; sister, Mary Wormald; and brothers, John and Joe Erslan; She is survived by sons, Bob (Jane) of Wadsworth, OH., Tom (Sue) of Springfield, VA., John (Lynne) of Cromwell, Conn.; daughters, Kathy (Nick) Lekas of Conroe, TX. and Beth (Kim Kislin) of Akron, OH.; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Sue was a vibrant woman, young at heart and never met a stranger. She was an avid reader, golfed on 2 leagues until the age of 90, loved to travel and always saw the good in everyone. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Apostolic Christian Home for their loving care, friendship and devotion.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Deacon John Amedeo officiating. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
