Susan Windham Obituary

Susan E. Windham, 63, passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Susan was born in Kermit, Texas to Robert & Fannie Beth Peacock, and spent her childhood moving around the southwest, eventually settling in Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and went on to attend Cotty College and University of Central Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Steve Windham. Susan moved with her family all around the country, eventually settling in Hudson, Ohio, where she worked for the Hudson School District as a secretary. Susan was a radiant woman who loved unconditionally, and she will be deeply missed by her family and her many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Peacock. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve; sons Chris (Regi) & Marc (Molly); daughter Sara (Mel) LeMane; grandchildren Luke, Laurence, Landry, & Lezley LeMane and Benjamin & Lucas Windham; mother Fannie Beth Watson; siblings Sanna (Tony) Lilburn & Allen (Susie) Peacock; sister-in-law Linda (Joe) Holliman; many nieces and nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 21, 2022 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main Street in Akron, with a memorial service to be held at 2:00PM, which will be livestreamed here. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center via: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/giving/make-a-gift or to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
