Steven Richard Evanicki

Steven R. Evanicki, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home.
Steve was born in Akron on March 5, 1964, to Steven and Anna Evanicki. He was a 1982 graduate of Hoban High School and became a licensed pilot at the age of 17. He was grateful for his many years of sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous. He had been employed for many years in sales in the trailer and automotive industry and attended St. Paul Catholic Church.
Steve is survived by his mother Anna; siblings Monica (Thomas) Brately, Lucy (James) Hart and John (Patricia) Evanicki; nieces and nephews Stephanie (Douglas) Thornton, Joseph (Rebekah) Brately, David (Erica) Popowitch, Ashley (Derrick Green) Evanicki, Amanda (David) Coser and Stephen Evanicki. Several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Steven in 1977.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 3 to 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 South Main St. Akron. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street, Akron Ohio 44301. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
