Shannon Marie Wesson, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
She was born in Rockingham, North Carolina and was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham. Shannon was employed by Summa Health System Akron City Hospital Campus in Akron, Ohio.
She is survived by her mother, Ellen Wesson; grandmother, Bea Wesson; son, Haven McConnell; sister, Christy Bazzano; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Lexe Wesson; her "Tulip", Alanah Saunders; nephews, Brenden Bazzano and Joseph ("Jo Jo"); and granddaughter, Juliet-Joy McConnell Gomez.
A Celebration of Shannon's Life will be held at a later date this summer.
