May 10, 1983 ~ October 26, 2023 (age 40) 40 Years Old
Roseann M. Mauk (Rosie), 40, joined her beloved brother in Heaven on October 26, 2023 the result of a motorcycle accident. She was born and raised in Akron and was a graduate of Coventry High School Class of 2001. She was a wonderful server at Bob Evans for many years. She enjoyed coaching girls softball, helping with cheerleading, attending her son's many sports functions - especially football and supporting both of her children in all that they do. An animal lover, who along with her family enjoyed many different pets through the years, will surely be missed by their dog, Jack. She was an amazing mother, daughter, aunt and friend. A ray of sunshine for everyone she called a friend or loved as family. Welcoming her to Heaven are her grandparents, George and Arlene Mauk; her brother, Shane C. Mauk; her step-dad, Arthur R. Hoest (Rick) and his parents, Arthur and Mabel Hoest; her aunts, Kim McLane and Pam Mauk; and her uncle, Donald Hoest (Peanut). Here to love, remember and miss her are her mother, Barbara A. Mauk (Barb); sister, Janelle Clark; her children, Eric G. Mendoza, Jr. (Bub) and MacKenzie R. Mendoza along with their dad, Eric G. Mendoza, Sr; her step-daughter, Alethea and her children; her uncles and aunts, George E. Mauk (Sara) and Michael Hoest (Jean); great-aunt, Betty Dotson; and best friend, Heather Dijak; along with many other cousins and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Memorial Service to follow Calling Hours at 1 p.m. Pastor Ron Mohlmaster officiating. Burial with her brother and grandparents at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron will take place at a later date. Food and Fellowship will be held after the Memorial Service at the South Akron Orioles #167, 2166 Manchester Rd. Akron, Ohio 44314. Rest in Peace Our Beautiful Baby Girl. You're in Our Hearts Forever.
