Ronald L. Cline

Ronald L. Cline, Beloved husband, father and grandfather, was born in Akron, Ohio on November 29, 1933. He was called home to be with the Lord January 5, 2021.

Ronald graduated from Life Bible College in Los Angeles, California and was a minister at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Tallmadge, Ohio. He attended the University of Akron where he attained his teaching degree and his law degree. He was a teacher with the Akron Public Schools and he had a private law practice. Ronald also worked for Goodyear as a machinist, retiring in 1996. Ron loved his family. He enjoyed travelling and reading; and he adored his little dog, Scruffy.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence W. and Gusta (England) Cline; daughter, Nicole Michelle Cline; and granddaughter, Nicole Michelle Labbe. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, R. Helen (Olson) Cline; children, Rhonda (David) Nester, Dennis (Dora) Cline, John (Stella) Cline and Lisa (Daniel) Fetter; grandchildren, Kelley (Dave) Berg, Brian, Jessica, Tara and Cameron (Natasha) Nester, Hope Labbe, Jill (Paul) Snyder, John Cline, Jr., Concetta (Andrew) Harman, Emily (Marc) Compher, Benjamin and Megan Cline and Daniel and Kathryn Fetter; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Bucy, of The Chapel in Green, officiating. Masks and Social Distancing Required.
