Robert "Bob" Mileski passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Bob was born on December 11, 1963, to Art and Rosemary (Gersna) Mileski. He attended St. Paul's grade school, Hoban High School and graduated from Garfield High School in 1982. Bob also graduated from NIT and Stark State College, and also attended the University of Akron. He was the Chief Estimator/ODOT Division Manager at Thompson Electric where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales parish, the Eagles Club, the Hungarian club, and Sportsman Club.
Bob had a variety of interests and talents. Bob had an early interest in speed as witnessed by his motorcycle racing and his Monte Carlo muscle car. He followed in the footsteps of his dad as he was a natural athlete - playing football and baseball during his academic career and transitioning into golf and scratching off lottery tickets as he matured.
Bob was known for his dry sense of humor, his constant wearing of shorts and his willingness to assist anyone with a home repair. His tool collection was envied by all. He challenges all his family and friends to find a picture of him actually smiling for this obituary. Bob will be missed.
Bob is survived by his wife Kari; mother Rosemary; mother and father-in-law Sally & Bill Gruver; Siblings: Michael Mileski (Sara), Mary Cutter, Stephen Mileski; Susan Modzeleski (Tom McGuire) and Joan Hinkle (Mark); Nieces and nephews Michael Modzeleski (Ali), Thresa Slusher (Dean), Julia Cutter, Jack Hinkle and Mason Martina; as well as his Eagles Club family.
