Richard Karl Peters

Richard K. Peters, loving father and grandfather, passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 86.
Dick was born in Cuyahoga Falls on October 30, 1934 and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Akron Standard for over 20 years and retired as an entrepreneur and inventor, holding multiple patents.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Margaret Peters; brothers Herman, Donald, & Edward and sister Mildred Herdon. He is survived by his sons Mark (Mary) and Scott (Amy) Peters & daughter Lynn (Michael) Shirk; grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Emily, Andrew, William, Thomas, Danielle, Clare, Madeline, Lily, Ryan, Jacob, & Benjamin. Dick also leaves behind his former wife Charlotte Peters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 10, at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
