Richard Andrew Laslo

Richard A. Laslo, 71, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2020.

Rick was born on December 5, 1948 to Eileen and Donald Laslo. He was preceded by his parents and his brother Don. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vicki; his children Todd (Brigitte), Matt, Misty (Tim) Brown, Mandy (Shawn) Brand, and Josh (Hannah); brother Robert (Trudy) Laslo; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a Sunday School teacher and youth group leader for many years. He was also the proud owner of Portage Lakes Root Bear Stand for 10 years. Through his ministry and through his business ownership, he touched many lives. Rick had a big heart and an even bigger personality. He was a Christ follower for 45 years and now he is at home with his Lord and Savior. He was welcomed into the Kingdom of God by Jesus, who said to him “Well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome home. Walk with me so I can show you your mansion.”

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18 from 4-6PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, McGowan Reid and Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave, in Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be held at 6:00PM. After the service, friends and family are invited to share food and drink as we remember and celebrate Rick's life at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium Banquet Center.
