Richard Warren Brower

Coventry Township - Richard W. Brower, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2022.
He was born in Akron on November 19, 1951. Richard was an avid lover of music, and played several instruments. He was a graduate of Field High School Class of 1969. He loved watching his Buckeyes, Browns and Indians. He enjoyed spending time in nature, planting flowers, feeding the birds, and making his yard look "perfect". He was a member of Goss Memorial Church in Kenmore. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda. Her only solace is that he knew Jesus and that they will meet again.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Helen; brothers, Ralph, Wayne and Roger Brower; and sister, Darlene Strayer (Donald). He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Linda; his sons, Sean Brower of Coventry Twp., Ohio and Mark Brower of St. Augustine, FL.; granddaughter, Gabriella Brower of St. Augustine, FL.; sisters, Harriet Cunningham of Cuyahoga Falls, Anita Workman of Suffield and Maryan (Bob) Mathis of Ravenna.
The family will receive friends Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a Memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
