Richard E. Black, 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
Dick was born Van Wert, Ohio to the late Evelyn and Lester Black. He served in the US Navy and worked at Consolidated Freight for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Dorothy (Rardin); children Pam (Anthony) Primovero, Kim Strong, Rodney Black, and Ronald (Wal) Black; grandchildren Ashley (Jamie) Caffes & Danielle Primovero; brother Jim (Helen) Black; and many other loved ones.
Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County (summithumane.org).
