Phyllis Joan Nassos

Phyllis Nassos, 90, has rejoined her loving husband. She leaves behind five children, and nine grandchildren, Peter (Georgia) Nassos of Atlanta, Ga., Julie (George) Mayfield of Columbus, Ohio, Joanne Nassos of Akron, Paula (Donald) Hutton of Wayne, Mich., John Nassos of Akron; her grandchildren, Theresa, Steven, Alexander, Jordan, Eftyhia, Sara, Olivia, Amiee and Christina. A life-long resident of Akron, Phyllis graduated from Garfield High School. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where she and her husband shared their time and talents. She will always be remembered for her welcoming personality to everyone. The family wishes to express special thanks to Delores, Charlie, Lisa and Pam for their caring assistance in helping care for Phyllis.

Funeral services will be Live-Streamed at Anthony Funeral Homes Facebook page www.facebook.com/anthonyfuneralhomes/live on Friday May 1, 2020 at 2 P.M. with Fr. Nicholas Emanuel officiating, for those who would like to participate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to "The Fr. George N.
