Obituary
Phyllis Ballou, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Our sister was a faithful Catholic, bearing witness to God her whole life and was a member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish. Always there for her family and friends, Phyllis experienced Medjugorie, loved playing cards, Hersey chocolate and RC Cola!
She was preceded in death by her son Charles Ballou, parents Charles & Mareta Drongoski, Brothers-in-law Robert Zellefrow and Adrian Martinez. Survived by her husband Donald Ballou, brother Kenny (Patti) Farmer, sisters Teddy (Bill) Kassinger, Rita Zellefrow, Cathy Martinez, Cindy (Ruben) Cardona and Mary (Dean) Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11AM Friday, April 28 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street in Akron, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at https://www.cff.org/givetoday.
