Ernie Kurylo, 67, loving husband, father, grandfather, & friend passed unexpectedly on the morning of January 15, 2021.
Ernie was born on September 30, 1953 after his family had immigrated to the US from Ukraine in 1951 to settle and raise their family in Akron.
Ernie was an avid fisherman and reader, his particular style of sarcasm and humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents Theodore & Anna; brothers Ludwig & Meron (Mike); sister Maria McGhee; infant daughter Jennifer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Jenny (Propst); his daughter and son-in-law Natalie & Bob Mikesell; son Ernie Kurylo; grandchildren Brett & Logan Mikesell and Alexis Kurylo, as well as several in-laws, nieces, nephews, & many dear friends from the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses. (Revelation 21:3-4).
Although we will miss him, we are comforted by the memories of laughter shared, hugs given, and his strong and steady guidance that continues to help us find our way. "Love you, see you, miss you, bye."
