Norma Jean Zugaro, 92, passed away and reunited with her husband and daughter on October 6, 2022.
Norma Jean was born in Randolph Twp. on July 13, 1930 and was a graduate of Randolph High School. She retired from Trump Plastics, where she worked as quality control manager. She was a parishioner St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in N. Ridgeville. Norma Jean spent many years participating in Senior softball along with her husband Frank, Sr. Norma Jean was a loving mother and devoted wife and will be dearly missed by her beloved grandchildren.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents Rufus & Esther Fassnacht; husband Frank R. Zugaro, Sr. in 1998, daughter Sandra K. Zugaro in 2017, and her siblings Howard, Vera, Eleanor, Hazel, Robert, Dorothy, Helen, Jerry, & Buddy. She is survived by her children Frank (Lin) Zugaro, Jr. and Jennifer (Bruce) Barden; grandchildren Frank E. (Barb) Zugaro, Lori (Mike) Bishop, Tamara (Mike) Cole, Chris (Mike) Gildenmeister, & Vicki (Nick) Barone; great-grandchildren Christopher, Juliana, Addyson, Haley, Austin, Kylie, Sophia, Ian, Anna Kathryn, Emily, Mia, & Tyler; great-great-grandchildren John Basil & Ada James; sisters Margaret, Irene, Elaine, Pat, & Phyllis.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 10, 2022, 12 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10 am until noon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
