Mary Louise (Young) Tice

Mary Louise Tice (Phillips), 51, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her home.

Mary was born March 29, 1971, in Ashland and was raised in Akron. She was a 1991 graduate of Central-Hower High School.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Michael, children April (Eric) McCown, Jeremiah Tice, Joshua Tice, James Tice, and Abigail Tice; grandchildren Carter and Paislee Mc Cown; father John Phillips; siblings John (Katherine) Phillips, Stephanie (Anthony) Campbell, and Jennifer Phillips (Todd Fields); and lifelong best friend Sheila Laughlin. She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Phillips and sister Janice Engstrom.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5 to 7pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road (Corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off Steese Road), where a Celebration of Mary's life will take place at 7:00pm. Interment will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 11:00 am.
