Mary Catherine (Perrotta) Oravec

Mary (Perrotta) Oravec was reunited with her late husband Mike on Wednesday November 9, 2022, about 2 weeks before her 102nd birthday. But don't tell anyone her exact age.
Mary and Mike had 65 years of marriage and are blessed and happy to be together again to dance a polka and maybe even a jitterbug.
Mary leaves her sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Veronica Oravec and Daniel and Janis Oravec. She also leaves her grandchildren Michael (Hillary) Oravec, Megan (Edwin) Goyzueta, Christin Oravec, Emily (Alan) Milkis, Mark Oravec (Brandi Perkins), and Jessica (Jarrod) Watkins. She also leaves her great grandchildren Cecilia, Maria, Quinn, Rory, Alden, Jameson and Jonathan.
Mary loved her family. She loved planting flowers and gardening. We all miss you but are happy you are home with Dad/Grandpa.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 14, 2022, from 10:30 to 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4109 Manchester Rd., Akron OH 44319 where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. A luncheon in the Memorare Hall will follow with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
