Margaret Kreptowski, 91, passed away on May 25, 2021.
Marge was born on Feb. 3, 1930 to the late Joseph & Barbara Varga who immigrated to the US from Hungary via Ellis Island. She lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls.
Marge grew up attending Sacred Heart of Parish Hungarian Catholic Church and had been a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls for over 65 years. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1948.
Marge was proud of her Hungarian heritage and enjoyed cooking their traditional dishes and listening to Saturday morning polkas. She was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns, & Cavaliers fan, but her favorite team were the Ohio State Buckeyes. She cherished time with her family, especially family picnics, which were all priceless memories.
In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Kreptowski; brothers Joe (Mary) & John (Pauline) Varga; sisters Barb (Stan) Streifender and Mary (Frank) Toth.
She is survived by her sons Joseph 'Butch' & Tom (Sue) Kreptowski; daughter Donna (Steve) Testa. Always in her hearts & prayers are her grandchildren Natalie (Damon), Mandy (Jeff), Melissa (Brian), Tommy & Kali (Ryan); great-grandchildren Morgan, Malia, Isis, & Colette; brother Mike (Bonnie) Varga & sister Liz Robinson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, & neighbors.
You will be missed by all those you loved and left behind, but reunited with the ones who went before you. May you forever rest in the peace of God's love and care. We love you!
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, May 29, at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. Rev. James Singler officiating. (McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, FALLS)
