Mareta (Rita) A. Drongoski, 93, passed away May 18, 2022
Our mom was a faithful Catholic, bearing witness to God her whole life and was a member of St. Paul's Parish. She was devoted to her family and she loved serving others during her many years as a waitress. Mom and dad were married 67 years until his untimely death May 3, 2021. She loved family vacations, old movies, "dad's music," shopping, the color red, her pyrex coffee pot and she centered everything around going out to eat!
Survived by her son Kenny (Patti) Farmer; daughters Phyllis (Don) Ballou, Teddy (Bill) Kassinger, Rita Zellefrow, Cathy Martinez, Cindy (Ruben) Cardona and Mary (Dean) Davis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Pastoria & Judy Willems; brother Bill Reynolds and sister-in-law Linda Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter & Eloise Reynolds; 2 sisters and a brother, grandson Charles Ballou; and sons-in-law Robert Zellefrow & Adrian Martinez.
The family will receive friends from 10-11AM Tuesday, May 24 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street in Akron, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM.
