Magdalena Maria Reiter

Magdalena Maria Reiter, 90, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021.
She was born in Germany and was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls since 1953. She retired from Acme Fresh Market Stores in 1993 after 35 years of service. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maria (Baranski) Jaskulla; sisters, Irmgard, Alice and Trudy; and husband, Mathias. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Monica Reiter; granddaughters, Alexandria (Kyle) Kotecki, Jessica (Mitch) Dorfman and Victoria (Brennan Owens) Reiter; and great-grandson, Emmett William, soon-to-be great-grandson, Travis James, and soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Magdalena Rose. Magda is also survived by Sandra Santos, Mary McCarthy, Bob (Sam) Reid, Draga Kercheff, Mary Burghardt, and many nieces and nephews.
She also is survived by her German families of Harry Dietz and Heinrich Jaskulla.
She was part of The Neighborhood where neighbors became family and friends. Magdalena now joins her dear friend, Wanda Schlemmer, but sadly leaves behind Jane Davis, Cheryl Cannatti, Pam Vineyard, Nancy and Randy Kopecky, and their extended families.
She also leaves behind her friend of 70 years, Paula Noll.
She was affectionately known as Oma to many.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please place a coin in a slot machine in her memory. (McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, Cuyahoga Falls)
