Loretta Agnes (Seiler) Roten

Loretta Agnes Roten Loretta Agnes Roten, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Inn at University Village in Massillon, Ohio.
Loretta was born April 20, 1931 in Akron to Joseph and Hannah (McDonald) Seiler and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was a long time and faithful member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert in 2005; grandson Willie Orr; and siblings Mary Ann Geiger, Pete Seiler, Joseph Seiler,Sarah Mooney and Lucille MacWilliams.
Her family meant everything to her and she meant everything to her family. She is survived by her daughters Theresa (Ric) Fail and Peggy (Bill) Orr; grandchildren John (Emily) Congrove, Johannah (Jim) Benedict, Elizabeth (Brody) Orr-Day and Allison Orr; granddaughter-in-law Shawnte' Gauthier; great grandchildren Jordin and Jenna Benedict, Logan and Olivia Congrove, Liam and Emma Orr and Quinn and Jack Day; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 44 University Ave, Akron, OH 44308. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bernard Church or Crossroads Hospice.
