Lloyd R Cool

Lloyd 'Ron' Cool, 79, died on October 31, 2023.
Ron was born in Akron on April 12, 1944 to the late Lloyd and Ruth Cool. He was a graduate of Buchtel High School and The University of Akron. He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber until 1971 then for the Firestone T & R Co. until 1991. Ron worked as an independent contractor for Perry Johnson until 2018.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Thomas. He is survived by his daughters Rebecca & Christina Cool; grandson Adrian Cool; Denise Lightner, and his dog Lily.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd (entrance off of Steese Rd.) in Green. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Saturday, November 4, at 10 am. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
