Linda Johnson Obituary
Janine Johnson passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Akron on March 28, 1969 to Linda & James Doolittle, Janine was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from North High School in 1987. Janine worked as an STNA at the Gardens of the Western Reserve. She loved her patients and they loved her. Janine enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She especially loved getting to spend time with her grandson.
Janine was preceded in death by her father James Earl Doolittle, Jr; daughter Nancy Dawn; and sister Angela Marie Doolittle. She will be deeply missed by her children Scott (Katie) Doolittle, Gina (Anthony) Doolittle and David Johnson; grandson Oliver James; mother Linda Doolittle; siblings Sheila (Jon) Watterman, James Earl Doolittle III (Tracey), and Christy Doolittle; nieces and nephews Kevin, Shane, Crystal, Aaron, Jason, Destiny, Cory, Angel & Brandon; numerous aunts and uncles; and many other loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at 10:45AM Saturday, May 30 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Road in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, c/o Anthony Funeral Home, to help with Janine's final expenses.
