Julia Elizabeth Smith

Julia Elizabeth Smith, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Julia was born in Akron on May 5, 1999 to James and Cherie Smith. She attended Green Schools, graduating in 2017 and going on to major in Marketing at Kent State University. She was a fantastic artist and has her artwork displayed at Akron Children's Hospital. Julia was an avid reader and had an amazing love of animals. May she have found the peace that she so deserved here on earth.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Betty & Cletus Smith and Don Blaz. She is survived by her parents Jim & Sue (Gamertsfelder) Smith and Cherie (Eric Wessel) Smith; sisters Amanda Smith, Marie (Brandon) Acks, Hannah Smith (fiance Bryce Mira), Grace Smith, twin sister Megan Smith, Anna-Marie Smith (Devin Mayle), Breanne Smith, and Abigail Dillick; and grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday, September 13 at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road in Green (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese), where a memorial service will be held at 7PM.
