Joyce Wilene (Stout) Cordi

Joyce Wilene Cordi, 81, of Suffield Township, OH, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Akron and was a member of the Brown Street Church of Christ. Wilene enjoyed gardening, sending correspondence cards to friends, collecting Longaberger baskets, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

Mrs. Cordi was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Esta Joyce (Coffman) Stout; daughter, Jennifer; and sister, Glennice Meckley. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Cordi; children, Kristal, Jeff (Sharon), and Stefanie Cordi; sister, Jackie Scott; brother, William Stout; granddaughter, Olivia (Danzig) Roberts; and great-grandson, Finn Roberts as well as many loving family and friends.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. A Funeral service in her honor will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home. Minister Don Wright officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula.
