John S. Yenchik, 90, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 after a brief illness.

John was born February 16, 1930 in Akron to the late John & Anna Yenchik and was lifelong area resident. John served in the US Navy during Korea. He worked as a machinist, retiring in 1993. John enjoyed classic cars and loved riding motorcycles. He loved watching sports and was a fan of the Cleveland teams. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and was a member of the Goodyears Modelers Club. John was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

In addition to his parent, John was preceded in death by his wife Kathy in 1990; and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his daughter Sandy Yenchik and many nieces and nephews.

Private services have been held. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
