John Albert Mills

John Albert Mills, 94, of Uniontown, went to be with Jesus Friday, September 23, 2022 in the comfort of his own home with his loved ones by his side.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary (Zahirsky) on Dec. 6, 1998; his parents William and Gladys; and brothers Jim & Robert.
He worked as a welder for the Massey Ferguson Company. In his most recent years, he enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels; reflecting on fond memories made with Mary during their 36 years of marriage, and longing for the day they would be together again. He is survived by his dear friend Gerald Wagler and his family; and many other friends and wonderful caretakers.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 29 at 3PM, Pastor Matt Zook officiating, at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where friends may call for one hour prior, beginning at 2PM. Burial at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 755 S Cleveland Ave, Mogadore OH 44260 or to Bethany Mennonite Church 3497 Edison St NE Hartville OH 44632.
