Joey R. Kauslick

Joey R. Kauslick, 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Joey was born in Barberton and was a lifelong area resident. He was a devoted husband, proud father, adoring grandfather & great-grandfather and a true friend. Joey retired as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker for General Motors in 1997. He was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where he served as an Usher and Eucharist Minister. Joey was also a member of Knights of Columbus 3410, Allenside AC, and the Barberton Moose Lodge. He was a talented bowler and inducted into the Tri-County Bowling Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph H. and Marcelle (Primeau); wife Paula (Noirot); brother Maurice; and daughter-in-law Pamela J. Kauslick. He is survived by his children Joseph P. (Marilyn), Kimberly A. (Carl) Musille, and Diana M. (Mark) Griffin; grandchildren Joseph M. Kauslick, Joshua E. Lee, & Paul, Ryan and Angela Musille; great-grandchildren Elias, Matthew, Reagan, Brianna, Raeghan, & Madeline; sister Marcine Plehn; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2 at 2:00PM at Immaculate Conception Church, 2101 17th St SW, Akron 44314, where the family will receive friends beginning at 1PM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Society of Deaf Children ( https://deafchildren.org/donate/ ).
