Joann Mary Velickoff née. Nemeth passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Joann was born on April 12, 1936. She had a full, happy life. Joann made many fond memories over her 35 years as a 5th grade teacher at Greensburg Elementary/Kleckner School.She enjoyed camping at Cape Hatters SC with her husband and daughter, and they had a beach condo in Florida. She loved sewing, crafting, and cooking. Joann was a member at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, where she always helped with the "Something Russian" Bazaar and taught Sunday school.
Joann was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years Franklin Delano Velickoff; and sister-in-law Maryann Feeney. She is survived by her beloved brother Joseph Daniel Nemeth; daughter Patricia (David) Atterholt; granddaughters Rachel & Ari Atterholt and Naomi (Michael) Mallonee; nephes John (Tracy), David (Debbie), & Mike (Johnetta) Velickoff and Michael (Roseanne) Feeney; brother-in-law John Feeney.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11 from 11AM to 12Noon at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S Cleveland Ave, Mogadore, OH 44260. Burial at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
