Helen (Horoschak) Letta

Helen Letta, 95, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at Akron City Hospital.
Helen was born July 6, 1927, in Akron, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from North High and worked for the Seiberling/Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1986. Helen was a lifelong member of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. She loved watching all her Cleveland sports teams and going to all her grandchildren's sporting events.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Sam; parents Alexander and Anna Horoschak; brothers John & Nick Horoschak; sisters Julia Sikora and Mary Ramnytz. She is survived by her children Mike (Shirley) and Denise Hayward; grandchildren Michael (Lauren) & Eric (Leah) Letta, and Sheena & Ty Hayward; great-grandchild Siena; many nieces, nephews and friends. She loved her family with all her heart and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20 from 10AM-12Noon at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 755 S Cleveland Ave in Mogadore, where funeral services will be held at 12Noon. Burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org/).
