Giuseppe (Joe) Parisi

Giuseppe (Joe) Parisi, 80, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.
Giuseppe was born February 24, 1940 to Stefano and Domenica (Scarpitti) Parisi in Carovilli, Italy. He came to North America in 1965 and reconnected with the love of his life, Elena (Helen) Carano whom he married in 1967 in Akron. He was employed by Kenmore Construction, where he was treated like family, for 35 years retiring in 2001. He was a 50 year member of the Laborers Union Local 894 and a member of Carovillese Lodge and Club. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Giuseppe’s passions were his family and his home. He adored his wife of 54 years Elena; children Stephen Parisi, Diana Schultz and Donna Deagan and especially enjoyed being Nonno to Lee, Joseph, Isabella and Gabriella. He prided himself on taking exceptional care of his home, lawn and garden.
He is also survived by his sister Maria Ricci and was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Antonio and Silverio Parisi and Angelina Sacco.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/qofh.parish on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00am from Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer and related disease foundation at www.alz.org/alzheimer_s_dementia or Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685.
