George Kozy

George Kozy, Jr., 93, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2021.
George was born in Akron on January 25, 1928 to the late George, Sr. & Susan (Milec) Kozy. He retired from Lockheed Martin with over 30 years of service. George served his country as a cartographer stationed in Hawaii in the US Army Corps of Engineers preceding the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Dorothy; brother Bob Kozy & sister Ruth Leitheiser. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Susan & Dale Goodman & grandson Kiel Freeman, as well as many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 3, at 11 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
