Gary Alan Nagy

Gary A. Nagy, 66, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home.

Gary was born on April 9, 1955 to the late Steve & Pearl Nagy. He was a 1973 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. Gary lived in Marblehead, Ohio for a number of years before returning to the Portage Lakes. He had a passion for boating and loved being on the water. Gary was the life of the party and always knew how to make his friends and family laugh. He was always whistling a tune and loved singing karaoke. Gary was employed at Frecka Plumbing.

Gary will be deeply missed by his daughters Lindsay and Kelley Nagy; brothers Steve (Patricia), Terry (Candice); sister Lynn (Matt) Rice; his beloved dog, Sugar; friend, Pam; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 4 from 4-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, with a service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "People Care Outreach" at Life Church 10280 State Route 88, Garrettsville, OH 44231.
