Gaetano Fragomeni, 74, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on July 6, 2021.
Gaetano was born on June 20, 1947 in Segni, Italy to the late Vincenzo & Angela Fragomeni and came to the United States in 1970. He had been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls since 1989. Gaetano was self-employed as a painter and wallpaperer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Gaetano was a member of the Italian-American Young Adults Club and the Italian Council of Summit County. He enjoyed soccer and played for many years in Europe and the US. He enjoyed the Italian game Morra.He especially enjoyed making and drinking homemade wine. Most of all, Gaetano cherished his family, grandchildren, and the Italian National Team.
In addition to his parents, Gaetano was preceded in death by his brother Domenico, as well as other siblings. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Olympia; his children Bianca Macanga & Domenico (Angela) Fragomeni; his grandchildren Mason, Madeline, Sonny, & Carmela; sisters Ersilia, Maria, & Antonietta.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 12, from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel 247 Stow Ave (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 13, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Second St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Entombment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls.
