Frank H. Otremsky, 95, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, at his home with his son by his side. Frank lived his life for others. He asked for nothing and only needed his family to be happy.
Frank was born October 10, 1926, to John and Mary (Penar) Otremsky in Lyndora PA, served in the US Army during WWII and moved to Akron in 1958. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Goodyear Aerospace and Goodyear Tire for 30 years, retiring in 1987.
Frank was a charter member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was an active parent of the Akron Cadet-ettes Marching Corp. Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth (Gidiman) in 1977; siblings Edward and Thaddeus Otremsky and Genevieve Zach. He is survived by his children Robert Otremsky, Lisa (Kevin) Montgomery, and Kathy Talabac; grandchildren Karlie (Alan) D'Amico,Presley Otremsky, Gary (Brianna) Otremsky, Steven Montgomery, Kathleen Montgomery, Trey, Elizabeth, Alyssa, and Breeann Talabac; great grandchildren Alli, Emma, Charlee, Koy and Laramie; siblings John (Theresa) and Richard (Mary Ann) Otremsky, and Mary Lou Chine; and former son-in-law Andy Talabac.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 6, 2002 at 11:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44658 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
