Dorlene H. (Sagadencky) DiPaolo

Dorlene H. DiPaolo, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 11, 2023. Her beloved husband, Bobby, greeted her in Heaven, along with her precious granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth.

Dorlene was born in Akron on August 31, 1934, to the late Trefon and Priscilla Sagadencky and was a lifelong area resident. She was a reading specialist at various schools in the Akron area, retiring from Chapel Hill Christian School in 1999.

Dorlene was known for her hospitality, her interest in genealogy, and her love for family get-togethers. She especially loved Christmastime, when she was surrounded by friends and family in her home in Cuyahoga Falls.

She is survived by her sons Robert "Gene," Jeff (Brigid), Jay (Lesa) DiPaolo; and eight grandchildren: Shanna Keller (Alan), Zachary DiPaolo (Michelle), Chelsea Long (Colby), Benjamin DiPaolo (Mary-Hannah), Kayleigh Puckett (Joshua), Josiah DiPaolo (Samantha), Eva DiPaolo, and Kira DiPaolo, along with ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends.

Private services have been held. Burial was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.
