David Francis Born

Uniontown - David F. Born, 91, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Pebble Creek Care Center.
Dave was born May 29, 1929 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio to Albert A. and Angela H. (Switalski) Born. He was a Stock roker for Butcher and Singer for 35 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where he oversaw the RCIA. He also participated in Journey to Peace and was a participant in the Cenacle.
Dave is survived by his dear friend and companion Betty Alexander; sons David E. (Elaine) Born MD and Jonathan A. (Leigh) Born; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Ann (Sacomani) Born.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Suffield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wells in Tanzinia or Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
