Clora "Ruth" Oddo Craft, 95, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.
She was born in Kent, Ohio and was a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. Mrs. Craft retired from Lawson's after 19 years of service. She was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving during World War II. Ruth was a member of Broadman Baptist Church, V.F.W. Huff Post 1062, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Country Music Association. Ruth also volunteered for the American Diabetes Association and danced with the Silver Strutters for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Oddo; and brother, Raymond Bailey. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann Lallathin, Ann Margaret (Kevin) Tracy, Michael Joseph (Joyce) Oddo and David S. (Marla) Oddo; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to service at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor John McIntyre officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
