Casey Devin Ash lost his battle with addiction on December 28, 2021. His beautiful spirit arrived on this planet April 4, 1991 with the help of Dr. Andy Parker. Casey's arrival made his momma, gam-gams and grandpa Horace the happiest folks on Earth. He spent most of his life in Northeast Ohio and attended school in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga Falls and Akron. Casey was preceded in death by his very, very special gam-gams, June Parker; grandpa, Beauford Brown; his loco-parentis, Darren "Buddha" Lappin; special friend, Cindy Pitman; special "bro," Nolyn Todisch; and many friends.
He is survived by the love of his life and mother of his son, Kellie Sykora; his son, Braylen "Boog" Ash; his momma, Jennifer Ash; grandfathers, Bob Ash, and Horace Parker; grandma, Thelma Brown; his uncle-"dad," Timothy Parker; siblings, Zoe and Dillon Yoho; uncles Jason Hartley, "Wild" Bill Ash, Oliver Wicks, Brian Parker, and Andy Parker; aunts, Barb Wicks, and Deborah Parker; special cousin, Kristen Fortune; and many other friends, family and loved ones.
Casey was a strong life force in this world. He wasn't just handsome, he was super handsome; as well as super smart, super loving, super athletic, super fun, and, unfortunately, super addicted. Casey will not only be missed, he will be super missed. We love you to the moon and back, Superman.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Casey's life at Noon, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Anthony's Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main Street Akron, OH 44301. Food will be served from 12:00PM to 3:00PM, with a special tribute beginning at 1:30PM.
As a memorial to Casey, the family has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support his five-year-old son, Braylen. Any funds you donate at https://gofund.me/acfb27df will support Braylen's immediate need for food, shelter, education, and grief counseling.
