Zona Harmon

Zona Harmon, 88, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016.
Born in Caretta, WV on August 17, 1927 to the late Ervin & Fronie Hicks, Zona came to Akron area in the early 1960s. She worked as an LPN for Akron City Hospital for 19 years, retiring in 1987. Zona was a faithful member of the Greensburg Church of God.
In addition to her parents, Zona was preceded in death by her husband Howard, and son-in-law Jay Norris. She is survived by her children Dan (Meredith), Linda (Greg) Quattlebaum, and Wanda Norris; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8, from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Anthony & Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road in Green (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese Rd). Funeral services will begin immediately following at 1:00 PM, Pastor David Cross officiating. Private entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
