Bill Wilmoth of Akron, Ohio died on September 28,2021 at the age of 57 after battling colon cancer.Bill is survived by his sister, Debbie (Rick) Heimbaugh, and his lifelong partner, Jim Flanagan. Bill is further survived by his niece and nephew, Rikki and John; Uncle Bill and Aunt Rita; and multiple close family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine and Chris. Bill was born in Akron, Ohio on May 26,1964. He was a graduate of Ellet High School where he participated in the marching band as a trumpet player. He was a photographer, a talented musician of electric and acoustic guitars, and an avid gamer. He loved the beaches of New Smyrna, Florida, where he lived for 3 years. Bill will be deeply missed by his sister, whom he referred to as his "angel", his partner, friends, family, and all who knew him. Bill's family, who nicknamed him "Carrot Cake Billy" ,will forever cherish memories of how he made them laugh around the dinner table at Thanksgiving and Christmas. A private ceremony will be held with his family. We are comforted by knowing that Bill is no longer in pain. Bill we hope you found your way to walk the sandy beaches again.
