William Szabat

William Szabat, 73, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022.
He was born in Shippenburg, Germany and was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church. William was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2017 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed horseracing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sophia (Goshen) Szabat. He is survived by his son, Kyle Szabat; brothers, Mike (Bev), Walt and Ray (Carol) Szabat; and nieces, Paige and Elizabeth Szabat.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
