William Rodgers

William Rodgers, 82, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Clearwater, Florida.
Bill was born in Akron and lived most of his life in Green, the last few years in Ellet. He graduated from Hower High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was an avid camper and boater at Pleasant Hill Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Cheryl; sons, Kenneth and Dennis and his wife Barbara; grandchildren, Timothy and Aubrey; brother, Edward and his wife Joan and their children, Richard and Kathy, Joseph, Mark and Debbie, Robert, Lorie and Bill and all of their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy J. and Velma (Zucovich); brother, James; and son, Michael.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd. Uniontown (City of Green), Ohio 44685 where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Graveside Interment will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 9 a.m. at East Liberty Cemetery in Green, Ohio.
