William Paluch, 71, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at St. Tikhon Monastery in South Canaan, Pa.
He was born October 10, 1950, to Sam and Maria (Trudick) Paluch in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was employed by McKesson. He was a faithful member of St. Elia Orthodox Church and the Barberton Moose. He enjoyed bowling, billiards and traveling.
Bill is survived by his children Christina Paluch, Jessica (Cody) Keathley and William Paluch; grandchildren Mariah Suarez and Vivian and Harper Keathley; siblings John (Joanne) Paluch, Martin Paluch, Anita (Richard) Ondreyka, Barbara Harp, Veronica (Terrence) Bilas and Kelly (Christopher) Varner; close friends and spiritual fathers his Beatitude Metropolitan Herman and Mitered Archpriest Very Rev. Fr. Don Freude. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his brother Samuel Polen and Sam's wife Mary Ellen.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2022 from 5 to 7pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH where a Parastas service will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 26, 2022, at 11:00am at St. Elia Orthodox Church, 64 W. Wilbeth Rd., Akron OH 44301. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery.
