William John Mushisky

William John Mushisky, 86, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, the 60th anniversary of his marriage, with his beloved wife, Joyce, by his side.

William was born November 15, 1938, to William and Margaret (Wohlwend) Mushisky in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was a 1958 graduate of Stow High School and was employed by area grocery stores including Apple and May Brothers. He was a member of Greensburg Church of God.

William is survived by his wife Joyce (Whittaker); children William J. (Lauri McCarthy) Mushisky, Alice (Paul) Persinger and Elizabeth Mushisky; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brother Frank Mushisky.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at Greensburg Church of God, 4691 Massillon Rd, Green, OH 44232, where a service will be held at 7:00PM. Donations may be made to Greensburg Church of God or a favorite charity.
