William J. LaMancusa, Jr., 81, passed away on December 10, 2023. Born in Akron to the late William J., Sr. and Concetta (Rinaldo), Bill was a life-long resident of Akron. He was a retired sheet metal worker from A&C Welding where he worked with his late brother, Carl LaMancusa. He was a former member of St. Sebastian Parish and had served as an usher for a number of years. People remember Bill for his kindness and generosity.

His survivors include sister, Mary J. (Les) Foster; brothers, Robert P. and Thomas J.; several nieces and nephews, Michael (Tracy) LaMancusa, Kimberly (Troy) LaMancusa, Jim (Missy) LaMancusa, Kristian Elliott, Lisa (Matthew) Mangus and Michael Elliott; 8 great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, Dec.14 from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15 at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) where funeral services will take place at 11:00. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
