William D. Gainer, 61, of Stow passed away on June 23. He was born in Akron, Oh. Preceded in death by his Dad, Clifford on Dec. 27, 2016, he is survived by his Mom, Marlene; siblings, Bob (Peni), Bonnie Gainer and Jeff (Dawn); aunt, Sharon (Larry) Collins; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Bill was a graduate of Weaver School where he played on the basketball team. Bill loved to go to work at the Southern Workshop. He also leaves behind his "second family" at XL Development Services; and his best friends, Ray and Brett. He was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to acknowledge all those who helped with Bill's care over the years. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be private.
